Location
The Barn is situated in beautiful countryside, 2 mins walk from the Oxford canal making it an ideal spot for enjoying local country walks. There are excellent pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance and with its location so close to Oxford and the facilities within the University, there is not a sport or activity, social or cultural that cannot be organised. Each week a number of concerts are held in Oxford which also has two theatres, and a number of cinemas and clubs. With its cosmopolitan background, Oxford has a huge range of restaurants, cafes and bars some of international repute. The river Thames provides its own pastimes and there are a number of inland lakes providing sailing, rowing and skiing activities. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty with its rolling countryside and delightful warm stone villages and pubs. There are a number of superb golf and tennis clubs in the area too.
